Do you do business in the Hook area of Hampshire or surrounding areas? If so we’d love to welcome you to our in person business networking group. We have now moved meetings from the third Tuesday to the third Thursday each month to avoid clashes with other meetings.

Grow your business network in Hook and beyond

There’s an old saying that it’s not what you know but who you know that counts. We agree. Our aim is to create the best connections in Hook and surrounding areas. Connections to people who will support you and your business. They might become your customers, your advocates and, very likely, your friends.

Fabulous Networking is a membership organisation, but visitors are always welcome. We don’t restrict attendance by profession or gender. We believe that there are opportunities to be gained by working with our competitors. Visitors are encouraged to attend up to three of our events before deciding if they’d like to join.

Your attendance fee is £15 (£12 for members) to cover venue and light refreshments.

Our agenda

There’s time for informal networking and to introduce your business to everyone present. We don’t do the traditional one-minute pitch. Instead, we find ways to be more spontaneous and interactive. Each month we do something a little different.

In September, we ask you to introduce yourself in one sentence and then share a business or life tip in a couple of sentences. This is your chance to showcase your expertise, briefly.

Our agenda is structured but flexible to respond to the needs and size of the group on the day. Typically we will have a speaker on a topic of interest to business people. Our speaker will be Financial Planner, John Dean from S4Financial.

Support, learning and inspiration are three of our core values and will be woven through the meeting. We want you to leave feeling it was a morning well spent.

Your speaker

John Dean is a graduate of Brunel University. After graduation John spent 14 years in the financial services industry as a Paraplanner and an adviser specialising in final salary pension schemes. He joined the S4 financial in 2019.

John holds the Diploma in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute and is working towards his Advanced Diploma. He has also completed the CII’s specialist AF7 module on Pension Transfers.

John has two young children an volunteers as a coach and referee with a local football team. He’s a keen cricketer and loves horse racing.

Your host

Claire Johnson is the driving force behind Bluebell Bookkeeping and Admin. She is an avid networker and a big believer that working with your competitors has many advantages.

Our venue for Hook Business Networking

We’re meeting at the Coach and Horses in Rotherwick, a lovely country pub on the outskirts of Hook. There’s ample parking but if you need help with transport please email Glenda and we’ll try to connect you to a lift.
