Pinner Business Networking in person 16th July 2025 LAUNCH

Welcome to our brand new Pinner business networking in person group launching on Wednesday 16th July.

If you do business in the Pinner and Harrow areas, or would like to, we’d love to meet you for a morning of supportive and uplifting networking. Our agenda is relaxed but purposeful. We have a structure but it’s adaptable to the attendees on the day. Everyone is welcome.

Our agenda at Pinner business networking in person

We start with a bit of informal networking whilst everyone arrives and then take our seats for the structured part of the meeting. You’ll then have an opportunity to introduce yourself to everyone at the meeting. We don’t do the typical 60 second introductions at Fabulous Networking. Instead we give you a theme for the month, this keeps our introductions fresh and interesting and allows us to get to know you better. This month we’re asking you to introduce yourself in 15 words or fewer (your name, business name and strapline, if you have one, are not counted in the 15 words).

Our speaker this month is Glenda Shawley, MD of Fabulous Networking. Glenda will be speaking about Being a Fabulous Networker. She’ll share some tips for getting more out of your meeting as well as some of the ways in which Fabulous Networking supports its members.

This may lead to a discussion and sharing of ideas. Sometimes there’ll be time for a business hot seat or activity. Our agenda is flexible to meet the needs and wishes of attendees on the day. There’s always lots of conversation and usually some laughter too.

Your host

Dipa Kotak is an experienced networker who has hosted many events in the past. This is her first Fabulous Networking group. Dipa is a social media strategist and a whizz at LinkedIn. She has a background in accountancy and business consultancy.

Your speaker

Glenda Shawley is an experienced marketer and trainer and author of Founded after 40: how to start a business when you haven’t got time to waste. She took over ownership of Fabulous Networking in January 2019 when the previous owner had to give up. She loved the network and its members so much that she couldn’t let it go.

Your venue

Daisy and Co is a sustainability conscious eatery in the centre of Pinner. It specialises in local produce and offers brunch through to dinner with afternoon tea on the way. Many of their ingredients come from their farm which is just 12 miles away.

Pinner is well served by buses, has a train station and is on the Metropolitan Line. We recommend parking in the Love Lane car park which is paid but allows parking for longer durations than the on street or supermarket car parks. There is disabled parking outside the restaurant.
