Do you do business in the Hook area of Hampshire or surrounding areas? If so we’d love to welcome you to the launch of our latest business networking group.

Grow your business network in Hook and beyond

There’s an old saying that it’s not what you know but who you know that counts. We agree. Our aim is to create the best connections in Hook and surrounding areas. Connections to people who will support you and your business. They might become your customers, your advocates and, very likely, your friends.

Fabulous Networking is a membership organisation, but visitors are always welcome. We don’t restrict attendance by profession or gender. We believe that there are opportunities to be gained by working with our competitors. Visitors are encouraged to attend up to three of our events before deciding if they’d like to join.

Your attendance fee is £10 to cover venue and light refreshments. This month we have a two for one special offer if you bring a visitor to the meeting.

Our launch agenda

Join us for our first Hook in person business networking meeting on February 20^th.

There’s time for informal networking and to introduce your business to everyone present. We don’t do the traditional one-minute pitch. Instead, we find ways to be more spontaneous and interactive. Each month we do something a little different.

Our agenda is structured but flexible to respond to the needs and size of the group on the day. Our speaker will be sharing ideas on how to use networking to grow your business. This should lead to a discussion and, if there’s time, a follow up activity.

We want you to leave feeling it was a morning well spent.

Your speaker

Glenda Shawley is the MD of Fabulous Networking and an experienced marketer and small business trainer. Glenda took over Fabulous Networking in 2019 when the previous owner had to give it up, she couldn’t bear to see it die. She just loves the friendships, support, learning and inspiration generated in the community. Glenda is the author of Founded after 40: how to start a business when you haven’t got time to waste.

Your host

Claire Johnson is the driving force behind Bluebell Admin and Bookkeeping. She is an avid networker and a big believer that working with your competitors has many advantages.

Our venue

We’re meeting at the Coach and Horses in Rotherwick, a lovely country pub on the outskirts of Hook. There’s ample parking but if you need help with transport please email Glenda and we’ll try to connect you to a lift.
