Grow your business network in Hook and beyond

There’s an old saying that it’s not what you know but who you know that counts. We agree. Our aim is to create the best connections in Hook and surrounding areas. Connections to people who will support you and your business. They might become your customers, your advocates and, very likely, your friends.

Fabulous Networking is a membership organisation, but visitors are always welcome. We don’t restrict attendance by profession or gender. We believe that there are opportunities to be gained by working with our competitors. Try out up to three of our events before deciding if you’d like to join.

Your attendance fee is £15 (£12 for members) to cover venue and light refreshments.

A typical Hook agenda

Our agenda is structured but flexible to respond to the needs and size of the group on the day.

We’re mixing it up a bit this month to allow time to reflect on the past year and look forward to next. We’ll also be devoting some time to fun and games.

Introduction round

We vary our introductions each month to keep them fresh and interesting whilst building our understanding of your business.

What I’m most proud of in 2025. You might be celebrating a personal or business achievement. Given that 2025 has been a tough year for many businesses you might want to celebrate still being in business.

Support, learning and inspiration are three of our core values and will be woven through the meeting. We want you to leave feeling it was a morning well spent. We also like to have fun and laughter is never far from the surface.

Your host

Claire Johnson is the driving force behind Bluebell Bookkeeping and Admin. She is an avid networker and a big believer that working with your competitors has many advantages.

Our venue

We’re meeting at the Coach and Horses in Rotherwick, a lovely country pub on the outskirts of Hook. There’s ample parking but if you need help with transport please email Glenda and we’ll try to connect you to a lift.

Reasons for attending.

• For many, business is especially tough at the moment, it helps to be surrounded by people who ‘get it’ but who will lift you up and help you to stay positive.
• The connections you make today can lead to the business you do, if not tomorrow, then in the coming months and years.
