Fleet in person business networking 14th August 2024

Welcome to our Fleet in person business networking group.
If you do business in the Fleet area of Hampshire we’d love to meet you. Your host is Mandy Dineley.
Our agenda is a mix of informal networking, a speaker and a little learning. This month our speaker is Glenda Shawley with a mini-workshop ‘Content that converts’.
We don’t do the 60 second pitch favoured by many networking communities. Instead, we have a different theme each month to keep our introductions fresh and to help us to get to know you better. In August, we ask you to introduce yourself in one sentence and then tell us who you would like to meet. This might be a named individual, or you might wish to describe a job role. This article explains more.
The cost is £10 and includes light refreshments.
All welcome.
Everyone is welcome at our business networking events. No professional restrictions, pressure to refer or attendance rules. We’re a welcoming bunch, and our meetings are typically 10-16 people so even if you are a novice networker they’re not too intimidating.
If you are nervous or have any specific needs, please email glenda@fabulousnetworking.co.uk with your phone number and we’ll work out how best to support you.
We’ll be meeting in the Wyvern in Church Crookham. There is ample parking.
There will be a £10 attendance fee for this event to cover room hire and refreshments. Payment may be made on arrival. These are a tax deductible marketing expense.

Your speaker
Glenda Shawley is MD of Fabulous Networking. She is an experienced marketing consultant and trainer and the author of Founded after 40: how to start a business when you haven’t got time to waste.
In this session Glenda will be running a mini-workshop to help you to move some of your marketing forward.
Your venue
The Wyvern, pronounced Wivvern is a 17th century pub at the heart of the Church Crookham community. It’s family run, is family and dog friendly and offers food 7 days a week (although check hours before making a journey). It could be a great place for those productive one to ones after a meeting.
