Fleet in person business networking 13th December 2023

Welcome to our in person business networking in Fleet. If you do business in the Fleet area we’d love to meet you. Your host is the fabulous Mandy Dineley. Mandy has the loveliest way of making everyone feel special and welcome.
Our agenda is a mix of informal networking, a speaker and a little learning. This month our speaker is Jill Aburrow who will be speaking about ‘Selling is Caring’. Many of us are reluctant to sell so in this talk Jill will share some tips she’s learned over the years which will change our perception of selling.
We have ditched the one minute pitch as a regular feature of our meetings, instead we’ll find more interactive ways of getting to know fellow attendees.
All welcome.
Everyone is welcome. No professional restrictions, pressure to refer or attendance rules. We’re a welcoming bunch, and our meetings are typically 10-16 people so even if you are a novice networker they’re not too intimidating. If you are nervous and would like a helping hand please email glenda@fabulousnetworking.co.uk with your phone number and we’ll work out how best to support you.
We’ll be meeting in the Wyvern in Church Crookham. There is ample parking.
There will be a £10 attendance fee for this event to cover room hire and refreshments. Payment may be made on arrival. Why not take advantage of our two for one offer where one of you is not a current member? So you get to come for £5 each. If you are also booked for the Christmas lunch the meeting fee will be £5.
Your host
Your host is Mandy Dineley of My Beautiful Pen. Mandy specialises in beautiful words for special occasions. Whether you want help to write a speech or some framed words to give as a gift Mandy can help. Her offers include some magical letters from Father Christmas and some invitations to Lapland. Mandy is also a talented, professional singer whose talents are much in demand, often with her bass playing husband Pete.
Your speaker
Jill Aburrow runs Heartfelt HR through which she works with employers who really care about their people. She has grown her business by understanding the need to have that sales conversation if people are to access your services. Jill is the author of Redundancy with love and is just about to start work on her second book.
Your venue
The Wyvern, pronounced Wivvern is a 17th century pub at the heart of the Church Crookham community. It’s family run, is family and dog friendly and offers food 7 days a week (although check hours before making a journey). It could be a great place for those productive one to ones after a meeting.
