Welcome to our Fleet business networking in person group.

If you do business in the Fleet area of Hampshire we’d love to meet you. Your host is the fabulous Mandy Dineley. Mandy has the loveliest way of making everyone feel special and welcome.

Our agenda is a mix of informal networking, a speaker and a little learning. This month our speaker is HR Consultant, Dawn Packham who will be speaking about  ‘HR Tips for Small Business Owners’. Dawn will look at four key areas… Hiring / Retention / Motivating / Addressing HR issues.

We don’t do the 60 second pitch favoured by many networking communities. Instead, we have a different theme each month to keep our introductions fresh and to help us to get to know you better. Everyone is welcome at our business networking events. No professional restrictions, pressure to refer or attendance rules. We’re a welcoming bunch, and our meetings are typically 10-16 people so even if you are a novice networker they’re not too intimidating.

We’ll be meeting in the Spice Merchant in Crookham Village . There is ample parking.

There will be a £15 (£12 for members) attendance fee for this event to cover room hire and refreshments. Payment may be made on arrival. These are a tax deductible marketing expense.

Your host

Your host is Mandy Dineley of My Beautiful Pen. Mandy specialises in beautiful words for special occasions. Whether you want help to write a speech or some framed words to give as a gift Mandy can help. Her offers include some magical letters from Father Christmas and some invitations to Lapland.

Mandy is also a talented, professional singer whose talents are much in demand, often with her bass playing husband Pete.

Your speaker

Dawn Packham runs Helix HR.

With over 27 years’ experience in the field of HR, Dawn is a Chartered CIPD-qualified HR professional.

She runs a fabulous HR consultancy which provides small businesses with friendly and straight-forward HR support for all things people.

Dawn’s industry background spans the luxury hotel market, large scale retail, senior hospitality recruitment, and electrical and electronic engineering, which gives her a diverse and rich understanding of various business environments and challenges.

Outside of her professional life, Dawn is an avid dog lover, motorhomer and a passionate baker.

Your venue

We have recently moved our meetings to the Spice Merchant in Crookham village and we love it. Service is friendly and efficient, there’s easy parking and if you want to stay on for food there are great options specialising in Thai cuisine.
