If you do business in the Fleet area of Hampshire we’d love to meet you. Your host is the fabulous Mandy Dineley. Mandy has the loveliest way of making everyone feel special and welcome.

Fabulous Networking is a membership organisation, but visitors are always welcome. No profession or gender restrictions. We believe that there are opportunities to be gained by working with our competitors. Attend up to three of our events before deciding if you’d like to join.

Your attendance fee is £15 (£12 for members) to cover venue and light refreshments. This is a tax deductible business expense and receipts will be issued.

Support, learning and inspiration are three of our core values and will be woven through the meeting. We want you to leave feeling it was a morning well spent.

This month Emily Gibson will deliver a talk entitled Everything you didn’t know about HR!

When most people think of HR, they picture ‘hiring and firing’. But that’s a tiny slice of the pie. The real impact is in shaping culture, driving performance, and protecting businesses from risk. I’d like to share everything you didn’t know about HR — and why it’s far more powerful than you might imagine.

Introduction round

We don’t do the 60 second pitch favoured by many networking communities. Instead, we have a different theme each month to keep our introductions fresh and to help us to get to know you better.

What is the type of work you really want to be known for? This article suggests what you might want to talk about.

All welcome.

We’re a welcoming bunch, and our meetings are typically 10-16 people so even if you are a novice networker they’re not too intimidating.

There will be a £15 (£!2 for members) attendance fee for this event to cover room hire and refreshments. Payment may be made on arrival. These are a tax deductible marketing expense.

Your host

Your host is Mandy Dineley of My Beautiful Pen. Mandy specialises in beautiful words for special occasions. Whether you want help to write a speech or some framed words to give as a gift Mandy can help. Her offers include some magical letters from Father Christmas and some invitations to Lapland.

Mandy is also a talented, professional singer whose talents are much in demand, often with her bass playing husband Pete.

Your speaker

Emily is an HR Consultant and the Founder of The HR Patch Ltd based in Frimley, Surrey. Along with her small team of experts, she provides outsourced HR support to businesses in a range of industries across the UK. Emily is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, an accredited Workplace Mediator and she also sits in Reading as a Lay Member in Employment Tribunals. On a personal note, Emily is a mum to 3 kids, 3 cats and a retired horse. She gives back to the community by volunteering as a Chair of Governors for local school, Ravenscote Juniors and like most people with a lot going on… she loves a good cuppa (or a G&T)!

Your venue

We’ll be meeting in the Spice Merchant in Crookham Village. The pub has a car park shared with the café next door.

Service is friendly and efficient, and if you want to stay on for food there are great options specialising in Thai cuisine.
