Ealing in person business networking September 1st 2023

Welcome to our in person business networking in Ealing. If you do business in West London we’d love to meet you.

Our agenda is a mix of informal networking, inspiration and learning. It’s structured without being rigid which allows Group Leaders to respond to the group and keep meetings fresh and energising.

We have ditched the one minute pitch as a routine part of our agenda. We find other more original, often more participative, ways to get to know you. We’ll circulate details of attendees after the meeting to make sure you know what everybody has to offer.

This month our speaker is Nicola Gaughan, who will be sharing some design basics for the small business owner. I’m sure this will help stop making a dog’s dinner on Canva and probably convince us that handing over to a professional would make sense.

Everyone is welcome. No professional restrictions, pressure to refer or attendance rules. We’re a welcoming bunch. Our meetings are typically 10-16 people so even if you are a novice networker they’re not too intimidating. Our venue

We’ll be meeting in the Library at Questors Theatre. (Enter through the door to the left. Go up the short stairs just past The Grapevine Bar. The Library is the room at the end of the short corridor. There is a small lift if you are unable to manage the stairs). We’re delighted to be able to collaborate with this fabulous community resource at the heart of Ealing. What’s more, for every person who attends an in person event we will plant a tree through our association with Ecologi.com. We like to make a positive difference in our communities where we can.

There is a small car park in front of the theatre with places on a first come, first served basis. If you are lucky there are some metered, on street spaces, but do watch out for local Controlled Parking Zone restrictions. You may find the Broadway Centre to be the most convenient car park and it is a short walk from the theatre. Many bus routes run along the Uxbridge Rd. which is only a short walk away. The tube and train station at Ealing Broadway is about a 10 minute walk. Ealing is now connected to Central and East London via the new Elizabeth Line which makes for faster journeys and an accessible train station.

There will be a £10 attendance fee for this event to cover room hire and refreshments. Payment may be made by debit or credit card on arrival.

Glenda Shawley is the MD of Fabulous Networking and has been running her own businesses for 30 years. She is an experienced marketer and qualified teacher of adults.
