Ealing in person business networking January 2023

Welcome to our in person business networking in Ealing. If you do business in West London we’d love to meet you.

Our agenda is a mix of informal networking, inspiration and learning. It’s structured without being rigid to keep meetings fresh and energising.

This month our speaker is Agnes Gaudron who will be sharing some truths around what organic means.

We have ditched the one minute pitch as a routine part of our agenda. We will find other more original, often more participative, ways to get to know you. We’ll circulate details of attendees after the meeting to make sure you know what everybody has to offer.

There will be a £10 attendance fee (reduced from £12 this month) for this event to cover room hire and refreshments. You can pay by debit or credit card on arrival.

Everyone is welcome. No professional restrictions, pressure to refer or attendance rules. We’re a welcoming bunch. Our room at Questors has a maximum capacity of 16 people so even if you are a novice networker it’s not too intimidating. If you are nervous and would like a helping hand please email glenda@fabulousnetworking.co.uk with your phone number and we’ll work out how best to support you.

Our venue

We’ll be meeting in the Library at Questors Theatre. (Enter through the door to the left, go through the double doors then go up the short stairs just past The Grapevine Bar. The Library is the room at the end of the short corridor). There is a small lift a little further on if you can’t manage the stairs. We’re delighted to be able to collaborate with this fabulous community resource at the heart of Ealing. What’s more, for every person who attends an in person event we will plant a tree through our association with Ecologi.com. We like to make a positive difference in our communities where we can.

There is a small car park in front of the theatre with places on a first come, first served basis. If you are lucky there are some metered, on street spaces, but do watch out for local Controlled Parking Zone restrictions. You may find the Broadway Centre to be the most convenient car park and it is a short walk from the theatre. If you come by bus many routes run along the Uxbridge Rd. which is only a short walk away. (Barnes Pikle is a cut through from Uxbridge Rd to Mattock Lane.) The tube and train station at Ealing Broadway is about a 10 minute walk. Ealing is now connected to Central and East London and points West via the new Elizabeth Line which makes for faster journeys and an accessible train station.

Glenda Shawley is the MD of Fabulous Networking and has been running her own businesses for 30 years. She is an experienced marketer and qualified teacher of adults. She is dedicated to helping business owners to run sustainable businesses on their own terms… that’s sustainable in every sense of the word.

Your speaker

Agnes Gaudron is the owner of Agnes Organic Hair and Beauty Salon. Hailing from the south of France Agnes arrived in the UK 11 years ago. After her degree in psychology Agnes trained in beauty therapy and went on to work in a hospital offering beauty treatments to terminally ill patients. As well as a range of beauty therapy skills Agnes is a fully qualified sports masseuse. She is passionate about her use of organic products.
