Ealing in person business networking April 14th 2023

Welcome to our in person business networking in Ealing. This month we’re meeting a week later than usual because of the Easter bank holidays. If you do business in West London we’d love to meet you.

Our agenda is a mix of informal networking, inspiration and learning. It’s structured without being rigid so we can respond to the group and keep meetings fresh and energising. This month our speaker is nutritional therapist Emily Fawell. Emily’s talk is entitled “How to have great energy throughout the day”.

We have ditched the one minute pitch as a routine part of our agenda. We’ll use other more original, often more participative, ways to get to know you. We’ll circulate details of attendees after the meeting to make sure you know what everybody has to offer.

Everyone is welcome. No professional restrictions, pressure to refer or attendance rules. We’re a welcoming bunch, and our meetings are typically 10-16 people so even if you are a novice networker they’re not too intimidating. We’ll be meeting in the Shaw Room at Questors Theatre. Did you know that for every person who attends an in person event we will plant a tree through our association with Ecologi.com? We like to make a positive difference in our communities where we can.

There is a small car park in front of the theatre with places on a first come, first served basis. If you are lucky there are some metered, on street spaces. Do watch out for local Controlled Parking Zone restrictions. You may find the Broadway Centre to be the most convenient car park and it is a short walk from the theatre. Many bus routes run along the Uxbridge Rd. which is only a short walk away. The tube and train station at Ealing Broadway is about a 10 minute walk. Ealing is now connected to Central and East London via the new Elizabeth Line which makes for faster journeys and an accessible train station.

There will be a £10 attendance fee for this event to cover room hire and refreshments. You can pay by debit or credit card on arrival.

Glenda Shawley is the MD of Fabulous Networking and has been running her own businesses for over 30 years. She is an experienced marketer and a qualified teacher of adults. Glenda loves helping business owners to run sustainable businesses on their own terms… that’s sustainable in every sense of the word.

Your speaker

Emily Fawell spent her early career in marketing before a diagnosis of endometriosis drove her to explore what nutritional therapy could do for her condition. The results led her to pursue a career as a nutritional therapist and she has continued to develop her knowledge and skills at 4Wellpeople. Emily enjoys being detective to get to the root cause of her client’s problems and then identify the right treatment.
