Ealing in person business networking 1st December 2023

Welcome to our in person business networking in Ealing. If you do business in West London we’d love to meet you.

Our agenda is a mix of informal networking, inspiration and learning. It’s structured without being rigid to keep meetings fresh and energising.

Our speaker this month is award winning SEO specialist Silvia del Corso. Silvia’s talk is “The 3 Sides of the SEO Triangle and Why Your Website Shouldn’t Just Be a Business Card.” This will cover the essentials of on-page SEO, technical SEO, and content. It will aim to show attendees why having just an online business card is not enough for effective digital presence.

We have ditched the one minute pitch as a routine part of our agenda for other more original, often more participative, ways to get to know you. Attendees enjoy presenting their businesses in different ways and like hearing varied introductions from other attendees, We’ll circulate details of attendees after the meeting to make sure you know what everybody has to offer.

Everyone is welcome. No professional restrictions, pressure to refer or attendance rules. We’re a welcoming bunch. Our meetings are typically 10-16 people so even if you are a novice networker they’re not too intimidating. Our venue.

We’ll be meeting in the café at Questors Theatre. (Enter through either door and go up the stairs. There is a small lift if you are unable to manage the stairs). We’re delighted to be able to collaborate with this fabulous community resource at the heart of Ealing. What’s more, for every person who attends an in person event we will plant a tree through our association with Ecologi.com. We like to make a positive difference in our communities where we can.

There is a small car park in front of the theatre with places on a first come, first served basis. If you are lucky there are some metered, on street spaces, but do watch out for local Controlled Parking Zone restrictions. You may find the Broadway Centre to be the most convenient car park. It is a short walk from the theatre. Many bus routes run along the Uxbridge Rd. which is only a short walk away. The tube and train station at Ealing Broadway is about a 10 minute walk. Ealing is now connected to Central and East London via the new Elizabeth Line which makes for faster journeys and an accessible train station.

Investment

Your attendance fee for this event is £10 to cover room hire and refreshments. But come with a friend (one of you must be a non-member) and get two for one i.e. pay £5 each. You can pay by debit or credit card on arrival. Remember this is an allowable business expense when doing your tax returns.

Glenda Shawley is the MD of Fabulous Networking and has been running her own businesses for over 30 years. She is an experienced marketer and qualified teacher of adults and dedicated to helping business owners to run sustainable businesses on their own terms… that’s sustainable in every sense of the word.

Your speaker

Silvia del Corso is an award winning SEO specialist and director of Pink SEO. She is Italian by birth and relocated to London with her husband and children in 2017. Silvia had run a Digital Agency in London so it was she established Pink SEO when she first moved to London. The agency still retains many clients won in those first few months.
