Welcome to our Ealing business networking in person group. If you do business in West London we’d love to meet you.

Our agenda is a mix of informal networking, inspiration and learning. It’s structured without being rigid so we can respond to the group and keep meetings fresh and energising.

We have ditched the one minute pitch as a routine part of our agenda and will find other more original, often more participative, ways to get to know you. In June we’re asking you to introduce your business in 15 words or fewer (your name, business name and strapline are in addition). This article might inspire you.

Everyone is welcome. No professional restrictions, pressure to refer or attendance rules. We’re a welcoming bunch, and our meetings are typically 10-16 people so even if you are a novice networker they’re not too intimidating. If you are nervous and would like a helping hand please email glenda@fabulousnetworking.co.uk with your phone number and we’ll work out how best to support you.

Our agenda for Ealing business networking in person on June 6th

We typically kick off the meeting with some informal chat as we wait for everyone to arrive. We’ll then do introductions to the whole room. This is not the typical 60 second sales pitch favoured by many networks. We change our theme each month which allows us to build an in depth understanding of each other’s businesses. Our introduction themes are also designed to help you to think about your business messaging. We are happy for you to test out ideas in your intro and if you’d like feedback we will give it kindly and constructively.

We’re doing something a little different this month. Rather than a speaker we are creating a safe space to share learning and experience that others can benefit from. There may also be time to share your challenges or test out a new idea or marketing message. Sharing is entirely voluntary. If you just want to listen that’s absolutely fine. More information will be shared when we have a clearer idea of numbers.

Your host

Glenda Shawley is the MD of Fabulous Networking and has been running her own businesses for 30 years. She is an experienced marketer and qualified teacher of adults and dedicated to helping business owners to run sustainable businesses on their own terms… that’s sustainable in every sense of the word.

Our venue

We meet at Rayuela a fine dining Spanish restaurant in the Dickens Yard development in the centre of Ealing. The restaurant is a short walk from Ealing Broadway station which is served by the Elizabeth Line, national rail and the Central and District Lines. Bus routes along the Uxbridge Rd. are even closer. There is an underground car park accessible from Longfield Rd. (but watch the junction with the Uxbridge Rd. as there are turning restrictions that make a small fortune for the council.) There are car parks on Springbridge Rd and the Ealing Broadway shopping centre which you may prefer.
