Accessibility: We meet in the library area of the bar which is up 4 small steps with a handrail. If this would prevent you attending please get in touch and we’ll ask the hotel to make a level access space available.

What to expect
What happens at a Fabulous Networking meeting?
- A warm welcome and informal chat
- Introductions rather than sales pitches. Each month we use a different theme to help everyone understand a little more about who you are and what you do. Because we have two speakers this month we need to keep our introductions really tight. This month… Introduce your business in 15 words or fewer. This article shares some examples to prompt your thinking.

Your speakers
Dawn Gregory is a speaking coach. As a child in Northern Ireland Dawn struggled to get heard above the volume of her older siblings, all of them confident speakers. With support from her grandmother Dawn learnt to get her voice heard and now she brings those skills to nervous speakers.
Mandy Dineley is the creative inspiration behind My Beautiful Pen where she writes meaningful words for special occasions especially weddings. She also sells wordy gifts. Mandy is talented vocalist and sings regularly as a soloist, in a duo with her bassist husband Pete and sometimes in a bigger band. She’s also our Fleet group leader.
Who attends Fabulous Networking Basingstoke?
Meetings usually include 14–18 people, with a mix of regular members and visitors.
Attendees include bookkeepers, financial advisers, copywriters, HR consultants, therapists, marketing specialists, lawyers and many other small business owners.
Everyone is welcome. We don’t have attendance rules or professional lockouts, and members belong to the wider Fabulous Networking community rather than a single group. This means there’s always a healthy mix of familiar faces and new connections.
