Our Fabulous Networking Authors’ Group is a mutual support group helping you to get your book written and published.

Writing a book is a big commitment and it is easy to get blown off course especially when you are trying to run a business and have a life. Support can make a big difference.

We’re not experts but we are a group of published authors and book contributors. Some of us were complete beginners when we joined the group. We share knowledge, experience, contacts, opinions and above all encouragement.

We are planning to meet once a month for now but if we have new members wanting more support, especially first time authors, we will increase the frequency and offer different timings. Our current plan is to meet on Zoom on the fourth Monday of each month from 4.30 for around an hour. The group is free to attend.

The following are committed to the group currently but we would love to have more people join us.

Glenda Shawley
Glenda Shawley usually chairs the group. She’s the author of Founded after 40 published by Practical Inspiration in 2017. She is currently working on an idea that captures her experience in HR, marketing and networking… it’s early days.
Graham le-Gall
Graham le-Gall is an expert in public speaking, and specifically the Peas! Graham is currently working on his third book which. His first book was aimed at those delivering wedding speeches, the second was a unique dictionary on the Peas of Public Speaking and the third is aimed at business people.
Jill Aburrow
Jill Aburrow’s first book was ‘Redundancy with love’ published by Rethink Press in 2023. She’s now working up the idea for her second book which will also be aimed at employers who care about having a happy workforce
Mandy Dineley
Mandy Dineley is the owner of My Beautiful Pen and as such she writes a lot but she has yet to write her first book. She is a contributor to Resilient Voices which was published during the pandemic. She is currently deciding between a number of possible concepts.
Nick Keith
Nick Keith is the author of Feel it as a Man, published by Panoma Press in 2018. He’s currently working on a series of crime thriller novels with a co-author. The first title is at the final edit stage.

 

Please book so we can send you the Zoom link before the meeting. It’s the same link every time so once you have it you’ll be able to drop in although we will send you reminders.

Everyone is welcome. You don’t have to be a Fabulous Networking member. You don’t have to have started writing or even finalised your book yet. It doesn’t matter what genre you’re planning to write. We’d love to meet you and to support you on your author’s journey
