Alton and Ealing online business networking June 21st 2023

We’re doing something a little different today and we’d love you to join us.
Typically our Alton group meets online on the third Wednesday of each month and our Ealing group meets in person on the first Friday. This month we’ve combined them. Rather than a speaker we’re going to run a mini-workshop designed to help attendees really get to know each other whilst going away with something really valuable they can use in their businesses.
Our agenda
We’ll be discussing, ‘Being memorable’, There’ll be a variety of activities and conversations some in the main room and probably some in break out rooms. We’ll look at what we’re doing well currently and what we can improve. Hopefully we’ll be able to pick each other’s brains to come away with some useful ideas and an action plan.
Of course this topic will really enable us to find out about each other’s businesses so there’ll be no one minute round.
The aim is to apply our values of support, collaboration, inspiration, and learning to the activity and we might even be able to work in some sustainability!
This is a slight change to the originally advertised topic as Kara Stanford will be running a session at BizChat on Monday 26th looking at what we want to be known for.
All welcome
If you have a leadership role in business or are thinking of starting a business then this meeting could be for you. We don’t operate professional lockouts. We believe there are opportunities in collaboration even with our competitors. Because the meeting is online you don’t have to be based in Alton or Ealing to join us. Everyone is welcome.
Meet your host… Glenda Shawley
Glenda Shawley is MD of Fabulous Networking and the regular host of the Ealing meeting. She’s a qualified teacher of adults and an experienced marketer. She’s also the author of Founded after 40: how to start a business when you haven’t got time to waste. Glenda is driven to help people to start and run a business on their own terms.
When she’s not working she enjoys creative pursuits, eating interesting food, drinking wine and watching Brentford FC.
