We have ditched the one minute pitches favoured by so many networking groups. Each month we have a different theme for our introductions to keep them fresh and interesting.

This month we’d like you to tell us…What I’m most proud of in 2025. You might be celebrating a personal or business achievement. Given that 2025 has been a tough year for many businesses you might want to celebrate still being in business.

We won’t have a speaker this month but will spend some time reviewing 2025 and looking forward to 2026. We’ll also make time for some fun and games to help you get to know your fellow networkers in a different way.

All welcome.

Everyone is welcome. No professional restrictions, pressure to refer or attendance rules. We’re a welcoming bunch, and our meetings are typically 8-12 people so even if you are a novice networker they’re not too intimidating. If you are nervous, or have specific needs, and would like a helping hand please drop me a line with your phone number and we’ll work out how best to support you.

The cost of this meeting is £15 (£12 for members) which includes light refreshments. This is a tax deductible marketing expense.

Jill Aburrow is a Human Resources Consultant. Her business is Heartfelt HR and it sums up Jill perfectly. She’s a great believer in kindness and compassion when it comes to business and especially when dealing with your employees. When they feel the love they will give of their best.

Our venue

The Barrington Arms is a family owned pub and hotel in the centre of Shrivenham. There is on street parking outside the pub and along the High St. The bus between Oxford and Swindon stops right outside. As the pub doesn’t open until noon please walk around the side and enter through the back door.

Reasons to attend

• Regular attendees at our Shrivenham group travel from Abingdon, Cirencester and Swindon to join local business owners for a morning working of business support and development. This gives you an opportunity to extend your reach over a wider area.
• Sometimes we get too close to our challenges to see the solution, this group is particularly good at generating ideas to help you find a way forward.
