Otterbourne Business Networking Summer Special

We are delighted to invite you to this free business networking summer special in Otterbourne, Winchester. Everyone is welcome but please book so we can cater appropriately.

Our hosts for the event will be Shawford Springs Care Home and thanks to their generosity we are able to make this a free event including light refreshments.

The programme for the meeting

We’ll start with some informal networking before taking our seats for the structured part of the meeting.

Every attendee will be invited to introduce themselves and their business in 60 seconds but not just any 60 seconds. We’re going to invite you to tell a story about you or your business in 100 words or less. Your audience is 55% more likely to remember a story than a list of facts. What’s more your story will allow you to build an emotional connection with others present, and that’s where the journey to success starts. Do think about your story in advance so you are well prepared. You might like to tell us

• the trigger for starting your business,
• it might be a success story,
• it might be an amusing encounter with a customer or supplier,
• it might be a lightbulb moment,
• or it might be something completely different

100 words is not a lot so there will be further opportunities for people to ask you what happened next or other questions later in the meeting.

Our speaker

Our speaker is Sonja Jueterbock Home services adviser at Shawford Springs who will be discussing some of the things we might need to think about when planning care for our loved ones or even for ourselves.
