What does your business do?

We design, make, restore and repair stained glass. I specialise in fine art painting on glass and have worked on some prestigious commissions including the memorial window to Winston Churchill at St. Martin’s Bladon Church where he is buried.

Who is your ideal client?

Homeowners, building contractors, property developers, door manufacturers and places of worship. Anyone with a property where the stained glass has seen better days or who would like to commission an original piece of glass to enhance their property or to mark a special occasion.

What are your goals for your business?

To grow the business in a steady and controlled manner.

How does Fabulous Networking help you to achieve those goals?

Not only have I won business through Fabulous Networking, I have made some good friends and learned a great deal at meetings both from speakers and from the business development sessions. Fabulous Networking members have been hugely supportive in visiting our Open Studios, Christmas pop-ups and other events to the benefit of my fellow exhibitors as well as my studio.

Can you share any specific numbers or examples on what you have gained from Fabulous Networking e.g. number of introductions aquired; number of new customers, joint or collaborative ventures undertaken, sippliers appointed, etc.?

The confidence I have gained as a member has been of great benefit to my business. I now have a team of other people who work for me which enables me to take on more projects.

What one tip would you share with new members or people new into networking?

Networking is about more than making sales. Choose the right network where the support can help you to develop your confidence and self-belief.
