DESCRIPTION:At Fabulous Networking we support our members practically as well as emotionally. Our Get it done days provide focus\, ideas\, feedback and accountability to enable our members and visitors to make progress in their businesses (and lives). \nWhat is a Get it done day?\nIs it time to move some tasks from to do to done? Then a Get it done day is just what you need. \nThe idea is that we help each other get our chosen task over the finishing line. Whether you need encouragement\, advice or just accountability you’ll find it on a Get it done day. \nThe get it done day’s structure\nWe start with an intention setting call at 9.30\, check in with calls at 12.00 and 2.30 and finish the day with a celebration of success call at 5.00. Each call allows you to report progress and get advice\, opinions or ideas. \nWe’ve had people develop training courses\, talks\, presentations and marketing material. Others have worked on tax returns\, planning documents and blogs. The choice is yours. Some work on routine tasks others work on business development. \nThe people who achieve most are the ones who make all the calls but if that doesn’t work for you\, you are welcome to skip a call or join us for just a part of the day. \nFree to members\nGet it done days are a member benefit for Fabulous Networkers\, but non-members are welcome to sample one free of charge after which each event costs £10. \nNumbers are limited to 10 so we can give everyone the support they want without spending all day talking. These sessions always take place on the same link\, so members often drop in without booking if space is available. \nN.B. She has run her own businesses for over 30 years. Before taking over Fabulous Networking she was a marketing and training consultant working with micro businesses and start-ups. Whether you need encouragement\, advice or just accountability you’ll find it on a Get it done day. \nThe get it done day’s structure\nWe start with an intention setting call at 9.30\, check in with calls at 12.00 and 2.30 and finish the day with a celebration of success call at 5.00. Each call allows you to report progress and get advice\, opinions or ideas. \nWe’ve had people develop training courses\, talks\, presentations and marketing material. Others have worked on tax returns\, planning documents and blogs. The choice is yours. Some work on routine tasks others work on business development. \nThe people who achieve most are the ones who make all the calls but if that doesn’t work for you\, you are welcome to skip a call or join us for just a part of the day. \nFree to members\nGet it done days are a member benefit for Fabulous Networkers\, but non-members are welcome to sample one free of charge after which each event costs £10. \nNumbers are limited to 10 so we can give everyone the support they want without spending all day talking. DESCRIPTION:Is it time to move some tasks from to do to done? Then a Get it done day is just what you need. \nThe idea is that we help each other get our chosen task over the finishing line. Whether you need encouragement\, advice or just accountability you’ll find it on a Get it done day. \nThe get it done day’s structure\nWe start with an intention setting call at 9.30\, check in with calls at 12.00 and 2.30 and finish the day with a celebration of success call at 5.00. Each call allows you to report progress and get advice\, opinions or ideas. \nWe’ve had people develop training courses\, talks\, presentations and marketing material. Others have worked on tax returns\, planning documents and blogs. The choice is yours. Some work on routine tasks others work on business development. \nThe people who achieve most are the ones who make all the calls but if that doesn’t work for you\, you are welcome to skip a call or join us for just a part of the day. \nFree to members\nGet it done days are a member benefit for Fabulous Networkers\, but non-members are welcome to sample one free of charge after which each event costs £10. \nNumbers are limited to 10 so we can give everyone the support they want without spending all day talking. These sessions always take place on the same link\, so members often drop in without booking if space is available. \nN.B. DESCRIPTION:Our online Book Club provides us with a different form of networking as well as an opportunity to learn. New members are always welcome. \nWe usually meet on Zoom from 12-1 on the fourth Monday of each month. \nThis month’s book club read\nWe’ll choose our January read at our meeting on December 22nd. \nFeel free to bring your lunch to the meeting and don’t forget to think of a book we might like to read in the future. \nUsually we choose a title nominated by a member. Our aim is to choose books that will be useful to us in business but not necessarily business books. We’ll then have that month to read the chosen book ready to discuss at the next meeting. All members are welcome to join us. Just 45 minutes of focused conversation and business development. \nThis week’s business development topic is… tbc \nWhat is BizChat Business Networking?\nBizChat is a FREE drop-in online business networking session on the same Zoom link\, at the same time 1.30-2.15\, every week except bank holidays and the two Mondays closest to Christmas. \n\n45 minutes of conversation and learning.\nBrief introductions (one sentence) to all present.\nTwo 6-7 minute one to one conversations in break out rooms.\nOne short business development slot led by a member.\nSmall group discussion based on the week’s development topic.\nWhat’s on update for the next two weeks.\n\nRegister once and we’ll send you the link which you can use to join us whenever you are free. \nWhat can you expect at BizChat online business networking?\nBecause BizChat is a drop-in session we never know quite what will happen. Numbers vary week by week but are typically 10-12 people. The format works however many people attend. \nWe attract a mix of regulars and visitors. They can come from anywhere but are invariably based in England (but we’d welcome people from further afield) \nYou’ll get a warm welcome. Our regulars love to meet new people. \nDo you find networking difficult? Maybe you struggle to know what to talk about or how to approach a stranger… we’ll suggest a topic for each conversation. You don’t have to use it but it can break the ice. \nThe business development slot aims to stimulate your thinking. We may share an inspiring business\, a tool that can help you be more organised or an aspect of business that we often put on the backburner. The session may be run by the meeting host or by a member. This is an opportunity for our members to showcase their expertise. \nWhy attend?\n\nBizChat is a great way to meet new people and get to know those you’ve already met better.\nIt’s 45 minutes of working on your business and not just in it\nIt’s an opportunity to learn new things or recall lessons you had forgotten.\nIt’s stimulating\, fun and productive. DESCRIPTION:Is it time to move some tasks from to do to done? Then a Get it done day is just what you need. \nThe idea is that we help each other get our chosen task over the finishing line. Whether you need encouragement\, advice or just accountability you’ll find it on a Get it done day. \nThe calls take place on Zoom so you can work from anywhere with an Internet connection to suit you. \nThe day’s structure\nWe start with an intention setting call at 9.30\, check in with calls at 12.00 and 2.30 and finish the day with a celebration of success call at 5.00. Each call allows you to report progress and get advice\, opinions or ideas. \nWe’ve had people develop training courses\, talks\, presentations and marketing material. Others have worked on tax returns\, planning documents and blogs. The choice is yours. \nThe people who achieve most are the ones who make all the calls but if that doesn’t work for you\, you are welcome to skip a call or join us for just a part of the day. \nFree to members\nGet it done days are a member benefit for Fabulous Networkers but non-members are welcome to sample one free of charge after which each event costs £10. \nNumbers are limited to 10 so we can give everyone the support they want without spending all day talking. These sessions always take place on the same link so members often drop in without booking if space is available. \nN.B. Occasionally we change the timing of calls to suit attendees so if you are planning to join us\, especially for later calls it’s a good idea to let me know (glenda@fabulousnetworking.co.uk) and on the rare occasions when no-one is booked for the first call it might not happen if you don’t tell me you’re coming.
