A 2001 trial on 111 volunteers was published in the Journal ‘Alternative Therapies in Health & Medicine’. Prior to the drumming session and post-drumming session\, blood samples were taken from the volunteers and analysed. \nIn the group that participated in the Drumming Circle\, it was found that levels of a an anti-ageing hormone that boosts mood/concentration increased.
