Finish it Friday

Do you ever get to the end of the week or month with a range of half completed tasks still on your to do list? Do you get to the end of the tax year and kick yourself for not keeping your accounts up to date? Or maybe you’re like me and constantly overwhelmed by the size of your inbox or ‘to be filed’ pile. If you answered yes to any of these questions then our Finish it Fridays collaborative working session has been designed for you.
For one hour we’ll login to Zoom and commit to a task or tasks that we are going to finish in that hour. You’ll be able to ask for help if you need it. At the end of the session we’ll share our progress and celebrate our successes. Even if you don’t finish the task hopefully you’ll have created the momentum to persevere until you have finished.
This session is designed for those routine tasks that make our lives more efficient and can save us time or embarrassment later on. You might work on…
- recording your financial transactions
- reconciling expenditure
- ordering supplies
- responding to emails
- clearing your inbox
- tidying your workspace
- organising your diary
- following up with people you met networking
- scheduling some social media posts
- watching or implementing that training seminar you paid for but haven’t used
- any other relatively short task that will give you a feel good end to your week
If you have a longer, more complicated task you want support with then book yourself into a Get it Done Day. These take place on the first Wednesday and third Friday each month.
