Alton Business Networking

March 16 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

We are thrilled to invite you to an in person networking event this month and are delighted to be back at Chawton House. Group Leader Jill Aburrow will be joined by our MD Glenda Shawley speaking on the topic of Business in 2022.

Our agenda includes…

  • informal networking
  • 60 second introductions
  • our speaker followed by questions and discussion
  • a business development slot

Everyone is welcome. We don’t operate professional lockouts… we believe there are opportunities in working with our competitors. Visitors may attend three events before making a decision about joining, and if you’ve attended three events online you would be welcome to try a couple of in person events too. We have a 2 for 1 offer until the end of April… introduce a visitor or come with a friend* and your attendance fee is £6 each (bring two or more visitors and you each get in for £6.)

Our venue

Chawton House was once the home of Jane Austen’s brother and features in her writing. It is now a renowned research centre for early women writers. The house and gardens are open to the public and there is a tea room on site if you’d like to stay on for lunch.

We meet in the Billiard Room. Unless you are directed otherwise knock on the front door on arrival and you will be shown to the Billiard Room.

Parking is free, on the road or in one of the village car parks. If you are unable to walk up the drive to the house please get in touch so we can make access arrangements for you.

You may also be interested in the house’s current exhibition, Botanical Women, which is on until April 18th.
